“The support and help from Bulgaria and other countries has been great, particularly in economy and human resource training,” said the President, adding that Vietnamese students in Bulgaria had become key figures in Vietnam’s development.

He expressed his hope that the relations between the two countries, and the ties between their Defence Ministries, would be further consolidated.

Bulgarian Minister Bliznakov said his Vietnam visit, the first by a Bulgarian Defence Minister over the last decade, was evidence of Vietnam’s importance to his country.

Host and guest agreed that the two countries should expand their cooperation in business, culture and national defence.
