"Boatman Sushi" restaurants to make waves in HCMC

(VOV) -A large-scale Japanese food court “Hokkaido Village” is set to open in Ho Chi Minh City in October with the aim of promoting culinary culture and image of Japan's second largest island in Vietnam.

Covering 1,500 square meters, Hokkaido Village will consist of a wide range of sushi and barbecue restaurants, cooking classes, and beauty salons.

The village is an initiative of a Japanese company “Cool Hokkaido” which was established in late November 2014 aiming at supporting business activities of Hokkaido prefecture in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.

The investment project is scheduled to attract 11 Japanese enterprises and financial organisations.
