State President Nguyen Minh Triet and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung sent congratulations on July 12 to Filipino President Benigno S.Aquino III on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Philippines.
The Vietnamese leaders emphasized that over the past 35 years, the relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries have developed constantly in various fields. The bilateral relationship has become a valuable common asset for both nations.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem also congratulated the Foreign Minister of the Philippines, Albert del Rosario, on the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
