Delegations from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and from San Francisco, USA, have paid working visits to Ho Chi Minh City to explore business opportunities there.

The delegation from the RoK City of Yongin included representatives of businesses in information technology, machinery, electric trams, and chemicals. The participants attended a meeting with their Vietnamese counterparts to seek trade partners and opportunities for investment and distributing products.

The Korean side said the two countries’ governments have created favourable conditions for investment and trade between Vietnam and the RoK.

Previously, the delegation from San Francisco, USA, comprised of 30 entrepreneurs in the fields of construction, garments and textiles, fashion, energy, and health care services, participated in a meeting with the city’s enterprises at the municipal Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC).

IPTC representatives said the centre will launch more meetings and exchanges in order to connect domestic and foreign businesses and remove Vietnamese businesses’ obstacles in penetrating traditional export markets and expanding to new markets.
