A nine-member crew and their fishing boat QNg 66478 TS were welcomed at 15:00 hrs on October 25 by a working delegation of the Vietnam National Search and Rescue Committee.
These fishermen were expected to arrive home on the evening of October 26.
All of them are in good condition.
The National Search and Rescue Committee previously sent a rescue ship to welcome them on Oct. 24, immediately after receiving the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s information on time and place to receive the crew members.
The Chinese side sent a fisheries administration boat to tow the Vietnamese fishing boat QNg 66478 TS and handed it and the crew over to the Vietnamese side on Oct. 25./.
