Russia provides nuclear power training for Vietnamese students

(VOV) - Russia’s Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) has announced that the country’s universities are to enroll 80 Vietnamese students this year as part of the Vietnam-Russia cooperation plan on human resource training for the nuclear industry. 

60 will study at the Far Eastern Federal University while 20 others will registered to participate in Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU)’Master Training Programme.

At present, 60 out of these students are eligible for entry to Russia for their study.

Under the higher education and post-graduate training programmes for the 2010-2014 period, 341 Vietnamese students studied at Russian educational institutions majoring in designing, operating and managing nuclear power plants.
