Five teams will compete in the event, including Democratic People’s Republic of Korea U22, Singapore U23, the Republic of Korea’s students, the host, Vietnam U23, and an U19 team from the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence.

The Aspire Academy team will also take part in an U21 international tournament organised by Thanh Nien (Youth) newspaper from September 27 to October 4.

The event is a chance for the Vietnam U23 team to gain valuable experience and prepare for the 26^th SEA Games.

The tournament will conclude on September 24.
