The Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary on April 6 presented Certificates of Merit awarded by the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (COVA) under the Foreign Ministry, to organisations and individuals in recognition of their positive contributions to building the community and defending the country.

Four community-based organisations in Hungary, which had the honour of receiving the Certificates of Merit included the Elderly’s Association, the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association and the Vietnamese Association.

Six other individuals, namely Nguyen Kim Anh, Nguyen Manh Hoang, Phan Bich Thien, Le Thi Suu, Le Huu Thuy and Vu Quy Duong are all businesspeople in Hungary who have actively taken part in community movements and always turned their hearts to the home country.
