Those who are interested in the contest can submit videos capturing their covers of the hit by October 27.

The winners list is scheduled to be announced on November 3. Winners will also perform the dance at the RoK cuisine festival at Keangnam Landmark Garden in Hanoi on November 4.

Released on July 15, the “Gangnam Style” video has reached over 300 million views on Youtube. The clip featuring Psy performing the so-called "horse dance," similar to riding a horse, has gone viral.

The song has been number one on Rok's major music charts for over three weeks and is also high on the iTunes store in the US, Canada, Finland, New Zealand and Denmark.

On September 20, "Gangnam Style" was recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Most 'Liked' Video in YouTube history.”

Fans all over the world have created parody versions of the song and posted them on YouTube to share with others. In Vietnam many people, especially youth, have also become overexcited by the music video and its phenomenal dance.
