The 11th Annual Terry Fox Run will take place in Ho Chi Minh City’s district 7 on December 1. People of all ages are invited to either run or walk the course starting at 8am.

The fund-raising event is organised by the Canadian Consulate, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the HCM City Union of Friendship Organisation that expect to attract 6,000 participants and raise US$31,000 for research works on cancer.

Last year 5,500 people took part in the run, raising US$27,000 for the HCM City Cancer Centre. 

The Terry Fox began in HCM City in 1997 and Hanoi in 1999 and has grown each year with the participation of people from all walks of life.
