The visit aimed to realise measures to strengthen the relationship between the two countries in general and their provinces in particular.

The delegates met with leaders of the RoK’s National Assembly and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. They also visited the Incheon Free Economic Zone, the Sungto urban centre and a number of corporations as well as economic and cultural establishments in Seoul, Suwon and Ansong cities.

Vang briefed his hosts on Vietnam’s situation and spoke highly of effective cooperation the RoK has extended to Vietnam during its renewal process.

He also affirmed that Vietnam has always placed importance on strengthening and fostering its friendly and cooperative relations with the RoK.

The RoK officials all expressed their wish to promote friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam in line with strategic cooperative partnership as defined by their senior leaders.
