The international VTV-T&T Cup 2006 football tournament will run from April 16-20 in Hanoi with the participation of the national football squad and three national U23 teams from Uzbekistan, Iran and Australia.
The four teams will compete in a round robin with the winners to receive a US$40,000 prize. Second and third slots will receive US$20,000 and US$10,000, respectively.
According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the annual tournament enables the national football squad to learn experience from international competitions.
