In Hanoi, the French music festival was held at the French Culture Centre, L’Espace. For the first time, a Xam work was performed in the background of Electronic music. The combination of Vietnamese traditional and western music generated new sounds for visitors at the festival.

The French music festival was held simultaneously around the world. Well-known classical works were performed at the Orsay museum, while France 2 television broadcast live a concert with the participation of many famous artists.

In New York, though the festival was held for the first time, it received great applause from the audience.
