Japan’s Nikkiso Co. Ltd., has decided to build a plant to produce plane components in Vietnam with a total investment capital of nearly US$7 million, according to Nihon Keizai newspaper on September 17.

The plant is scheduled to be put into operation from October 2009 and its products will be provided to the world leading plane manufacturer, US Boeing firm.

Nikkiso Co. Ltd., now has a factory to manufacture components in Shizuoka, Japan. Assessing Vietnam as a suitable production basis due to low labour and input costs, Nikkiso has decided to deploy a production project in Vietnam.
