Relief aid worth EUR30,000 (approximately US$43,500) is part of a package being provided by Malteser International of Germany to help flood victims in Vietnam’s central provinces.
With financial support from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malteser International has provided food, blankets, mosquito nets, sheets and detergent to 1,250 families who suffered from the recent floods in central Da Nang and Quang Nam provinces.
The organisation has worked closely with the People’s Committees in flood-stricken areas to help them overcome the consequences of the floods.
