A fund-raising walk was launched on August 31 in the US State of California by Vietnam Project to help Vietnamese poor children.

The walk drew the participation of many Vietnamese nationals in the US and local people in California.

According to doctor Quynh Kieu who always pioneers in Vietnam Project’s activities, her organisation raised US$34,000 from a campaign in support of Vietnamese poor children launched in June this year.
