Le Trong Giang won a bronze medal in the men's 3,000m steeplechase at the 15th Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Sri Lanka.
He finished the race in a time of 9:22.28.
This was the only medal of the Vietnamese delegation at the tournament which was wrapped up on June 12.
