A Danish-funded project to improve the sustainable management of forests in Xuan Son National Park and assist communities living in the area has been launched in the northern midland province of Phu Tho.

The project aims to create jobs for the communities in Xuan Dai, Minh Dai and Xuan Son communes.

Household economies will also be developed following a model of combining agriculture-forestry-fisheries with manufacturing non-timber forestry products.
