The second congress of the Vietnam Educational Equipment Association opened in Hanoi on February 20.

During the past fours, the association has supplied new educational equipment to meet demands for teaching and studying at all levels. Its equipment has also been exported to demanding markets, such as Russia, the US and the Republic of Korea. In the reviewed period, the association’s export value hit US$10 million. It has also developed training programmes for its officials and staff to produce, design and preserve educational equipment.

Bui Ngoc Son, vice chairman of the association said in the next term, the association intends to join the World Educational Equipment Association. Accordingly, it will further improve the quality of its equipment and manufacture international standard products to boost exports.

The association will coordinate with localities to quickly hand over educational equipment as close to the beginning of the academic year as possible.

The association elected an executive board headed by Dr Tran Chi Dao.
