Students Day in RoK
(VOV) - The 8th Vietnamese Students Day was held at Soongsil University in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on October 14.
Chairman of the Vietnamese Students Association in the RoK (VSAK) Nguyen Ngoc Hoan said the association has recently organized a number of activities to encourage students to live, study and work following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
The association has also worked with Korean social organizations to assist the Vietnamese community in the RoK.
It aims to be a bridge to introducing Vietnam and its people to international friends through taking part in international cultural festivals and events in the RoK.
Vietnam's ambassador to the RoK, Tran Trong Toan, hailed the VSAK’s achievements and said he hopes it will continue to play key role in promoting the people and country of Vietnam.
On the occasion, Ambassador Toan presented certificates of merit to individuals and organizations that have contributed to VSAK activities in the RoK.
