Philippine fishermen get help in Vietnam

Border guards in the south central province of Binh Dinh on October 26 received three Philippine fishermen who were in distress in the waters of Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago. 

The Filipinos were provided with check-ups, medicines and personal necessities. They are now in stable health conditions.

The province is completing procedures to send them back home.

The fishermen were rescued by a trawler from Binh Dinh province when it was fishing in the waters off Truong Sa archipelago on October 20.
