Vietnam bagged 20 gold, 12 silver and six bronze medals, securing the first place at the Southeast Asian Shooting Association (SEASA) Championships, which ended in Hanoi on July 8.

Vietnamese shooters dominated in the trap shooting event, snatching eight out of 10 gold medals at the one-week tournament. In particular, Hoang Thi Tuat broke two SEASA records at the women's individual and team trap shooting events.

 

Thailand ranked second with 10 gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals and Malaysia took the third place with two gold, five silver and six bronze medals.

At the tournament for junior competitors, Thailand ranked first, while Vietnam secured the second position.
