The setting up of the Chorus for Justice Fund was announced to the public on June 18 with the aim of raising money for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims.

The fund highlighted a concert titled “Chorus for Justice” held on June 17, 2007 when 15,000 people sang the song “Vi sao em chet?” (Why did you die?) by former musician Thanh Truc to support victims in the lawsuit against the US chemical manufacturers of Vietnamese AO/dioxin victims.

The NhacSO.net website, who launched the fund, said that all the proceeds donated to the fund will be given to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin (VAVA) every three months.

VAVA Secretary-general Tran Xuan Thu said the association is ready to support all the fund’s activities in the future./.
