The fine results of the annual youth friendship meeting have contributed to the development of Vietnam-China traditional ties, said Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Li Meng while receiving a Vietnamese youth delegation in Beijing on November 9.

The Vice Chairman said he hopes that the two communist youth unions will continue exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation.

Head of the Vietnamese youth delegation Doan Van Thai, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, expressed his sincere thanks to the Chinese youth for their cooperation with the Vietnamese delegation during their stay in China to attend the China-Vietnam Youth Friendship Meeting 2006 from November 1-9.
