The Vietnam Red Cross (VRC) has provided 800 containers of goods, 50 tonnes of rice, 400 barrels of fresh water and VND350 million in relief aid for flood victims in Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh provinces.

The VRC has also raised VND3 billion from domestic individuals and organisations and over VND100 billion from the international community.

It is currently working with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and several national associations in Vietnam to deliver food, water and other essential supplies to flooded areas.
