Three films will be screened at the festival: "Nabbie's love" directed by Nakae Yuji, "You are my love" by Watanabi Takayoshi, and "The village in my picture" by Higashi Yoichi.

The three-day festival will be co-organised by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and the Japan Fund for International Exchange.

Hanoians will have a chance to know more about Japan’s modern pottery through an exhibition to be held at the Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Cooperation Centre between September 20 and October 4.

The exhibition will display 71 works by Japanese craftsmen who combine traditional and experimental techniques.
