Mr Huy was bestowed the title due to his great contributions to strengthening Vietnamese-Slovakian friendship and cooperation during his former three-year term as the Slovakian honorary consul.

At present, only 10 out of Slovakia’s 141 honorary consuls from across the world have been awarded the prestigious title of honorary consul general.
