Vietnam and China have discussed in depth problems relating to the planting of land-border markers and proper measures to accelerate the process.

The chair-level meeting of the Joint Vietnam-China Committee on Land-Border Delineation and Marker Planting, closed in Beijing on May 23, after 14 days’ sitting in a friendly and open atmosphere.

The two parties agreed to speed up the work tempo of the groups responsible for border delineation and marker planting to meet the deadline.

They agreed to hold their next meeting in Vietnam this June
