Health Minister Nguyen Quoc Trieu has listed the tasks of hospital and medical-clinic personnel to ensure that people throughout the country will be offered the best services during the Tet holiday.
All hospitals and clinics should arrange for emergencies, health checks and treatment during the coming week, he said.
They must provide a quick response to all emergencies and ensure they will have sufficient medicines, blood and other materials.
They are required to take care of poor in-patients, and plan to have all facilities and staff necessary ready for any new cases of emergency.
