The Prime Minister on December 24 gave the go-ahead to three UNDP-funded projects with a total investment of nearly US$5.5 million for the 2006-2010 period.

They include a US$3.5 million project supporting financial policy analysis, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Finance, and a US$1.25 million project on enhancing the capacity for the Union of the Vietnamese Scientific and Technology Associations.

The last project worth US$736,000, which will be carried out by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, aims to support for the making of reports on implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in 2008 and 2010.
