A press briefing was held in Ho Chi Minh City on July 4 to call attention to the world exhibition on Vietnam’s information technology, communication, and electronics and an overview of the sector in 2006.

According to the organising board, the exhibition will be held in the city from July 11-15, attracting more than 200 companies. The organising board said that nearly half of the registered participants are companies and multi-national groups from US, Japan, Singapore, and China. Forty US companies and multi-national groups will take part in the exhibition, nearly double last year’s figure.
