The Iranian Embassy in Vietnam will organise a Persian carpet exhibition in Hanoi from April 3-5, according to a press briefing held in Hanoi on March 26.
Iranian Ambassador Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi said that this will be the first time Iran há carpets displayed in Vietnam.
Close to 180 carpets to be showcased at the exhibition are special artistic products bearing long-lasting cultural hallmarks of Islamic Iran, the land of the stories of 1001 Arabian nights.
The exhibition will be a chance for Vietnamese people to better understand Iranian culture, thus strengthening cultural exchanges and trade relations between the two countries.
