Vietnam crushed Malaysia 11-0 in the third group match of the Southeast Asian Women’s Football Championship at Ho Chi Minh City’s Thanh Long Sports Centre on October 12.
On October 10, Vietnamese women trounced Indonesia 4-0 in their second match.
Three wins put Vietnam over Myanmar, Indonesia and Malaysia in group A.
In group B, the Southeast Asian giant Thailand hauled themselves back into contention with a huge 6-0 victory over Singapore, while the Australians booked their place in the semi-final after defeating the Philippines 7-0 on October 11.
Australia will meet Singapore, while Thailand will play the Philippines on October 13.
