Hundreds of Vietnamese students in the UK gathered at a cultural festival on November 18 to raise funds for charitable activities in Vietnam.

The fiesta was attended by representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese representative agencies in the UK, and the UK - Vietnam Friendship Association.

With a message that Vietnamese students in the UK are one big family which is always looking towards the fatherland, the festival featured the diversified culture of Vietnam and helped introduce its image as a beautiful and dynamic country in the new era.

Visitors to the festival were attracted by a series of traditional music performances and dances together with a show of traditional Vietnamese costumes.

The event was co-hosted by the Vietnam Student's Association at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the British Council under the sponsorship of the Citigroup, the Standard Chartered Bank and some others.
