Thailand’s Siam Cement Group (SCG) is a leading industrial group in Southeast Asia, which specialises in petrochemistry, paper, cement and material construction production and distribution.

Having operated in Vietnam since 1990, the group now has seven subsidiary companies in the industrial parks of southern Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces. They are the Vietnam-Thailand Plastchem Joint Venture Company with a legal capital of US$3.5 million producing PVC compound plastic, the TPC Vina Chemical and Plastic Corporation Joint Venture capitalized at US$27 million producing PVC plastic, the CPAC Monier Ltd Company with a legal capital of US$4 million producing coloured concrete and roofing material, the Minh Thai Plastic Company capitalized at US$1 million which produces PVC plastic products and Chemthech Ltd Company capitalized at US$500,000.


The group has invested in a Kraft paper production project worth US$220 million which is considered the biggest one in Vietnam.
