Entrants to the contest are professional and amateur photographers, photo collectors and tourist who either took or collected photos of ancient Hoi An town.

Photos must not be published in any forms and must feature the beauty of landscape, architectural, historical and cultural values, daily activities, and efforts of Hoi An people and tourists in preserving the ancient town. Photos of historical values must be those of Hoi An town and people engaged in construction and development activities.

The deadline for entries is September 22, 2006. Awarded photos will be displayed to mark the APEC Tourism Ministers’ Conference to be held in Hoi An in October.
