As part of the festival, many activities will take place, such as an exhibition on kites from across the world, free style kite performances and competitions amongst countries.

The event attracts 25 countries and territories such as Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, the US, China, France and Italy.

The host Vietnam will send its four teams from Hanoi, Hue and Ba Ria-Vung Tau to take part in the festival, and one team from Ho Chi Minh City will be divided into two groups with about 70 international and 50 domestic artisans.
