As from February 20, people across the country can access administrative procedure information by dialing 19001715.

All administrative procedures updated on the Vietnam administrative procedure gateway (VAPG) are in Vietnamese, Thai and H’Mong languages. The project has been developed by the Interior Ministry, ActionAid and Markcom group.

At the launch ceremony on February 20 in Hanoi, Dinh Duy Hoa, vice secretary-general of the Government’s Steering Board for Administrative Reform said in addition to providing information, the portal allows citizens to send their queries on administrative procedures by phone. This method will help make administrative procedures more transparent, said Mr Hoa.

Currently, the portal provides information about 80 kinds of procedures at the communal and ward level, including residence, notaization of contracts and documents for real estate, transactions, house building, credit loans, social policy for war invalids, martyrs and people who rendered services to the nation.

Phan Van Ngoc, ActionAid director said that the portal will be updated with more tools and in other ethnic  languages of Tay, Nung, Ede and Kh’Me in the future.

The fee to call is VND500 per minute.
