Construction of an indoor athletic stadium worth VND250 billion will start in Hanoi in May as part of preparations for the third Asian Indoor Games.
The 3.4 ha stadium, located next to the My Dinh Sports Training Centre, can also house various sports competitions.
Several major companies from Italy and China will participate in the construction process and supply sports equipment.
The facility is scheduled to finish in September 2009 in time for the third Asian Indoor Games in November.
