The Spanish head delegate expressed his delight at his first visit to Vietnam to witness the achievements of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

The CPS delegation was interested in Vietnam’s socio-economic development, achievements in the current renovation process, VGCL’s activities in the country’s market economy and integration, the country's trade union work and trade union participation in completing legal frameworks on labour and workers’ rights.

Mr Tung stressed that Vietnam’s trade union activities currently focus on ensuring Vietnamese workers’ rights, increasing the number of trade union members and introducing outstanding members to the CPV.
