Australia band steal the show in Hanoi

(VOV) -Australia’s DeepBlue took to the stage of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Theatre in Hanoi on April 8 engaging the audience with their emotionally charged dynamically entertaining rendition of “Who Are You”.

DeepBlue’s show, part orchestra and part theatre, was a unique rich mix of magnificent sound, lighting, images and stories, a primer for their upcoming performances in the former imperial city of Hue during the Festival Hue 2014.

Speaking at the event, VOV Deputy Director General Vu Hai highlighted the results of fruitful cooperation between the national radio and the Australian Embassy in Hanoi, saying the two sides jointly organized a number of events marking the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties in 2013

The Hanoi audience enjoyed a truly interactive experience in combination with beautiful melodies from famous pieces “Big Bounce”, “Life on Mars”, and “Hong Kong Westerns”, and Vietnamese “Lý ngựa ô” (The Black Horse).
