The National Assembly (NA) Vice chairwoman, Tong Thi Phong led a delegation of deputies on a visit to Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on November 11.

They called at the National Radio Centre, VOVTV and VOV traffic information channel at 58 Quan Su Street, Hanoi.

Mrs Phong praised VOV staff for their efforts to carry out political tasks assigned by the State and Party over recent years.

Mrs Phong said that the traffic information programme is very helpful in ensuring traffic run smoothly across the country.

On behalf of the 2,000 officials and staff, Professor, Dr Vu Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee and general director of VOV, confirmed that VOV will do its utmost to improve the quality of programmes to make VOV an important source of information and act as a bridge between the Party, State and people.
