Indochinese heritage exhibited

(VOV) - Thanh Hoa province is currently hosting an exhibition showcasing objects and artifacts relating to the world heritages and major museums of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

The event—opened on March 8 by the Hanoi-based UNESCO Office and Thanh Hoa province’s Centre for the Conservation of the World Heritage Ho Dynasty Citadel—is part of a combined effort  to elevate the quality of explanations and presentations regarding the three Indochinese countries’ living heritages.

The exhibition displays posters, writings, and photos documenting the natural beauty, cultural lifestyles, and cross-border trading activities of the Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian people.

It also includes exhibits about the World Heritage-listed Ho Dynasty Citadel and the daily life of local residents.

The exhibition is curated in a manner that demonstrates the close relationship between the three Indochinese countries’ world heritage sites and preeminent museums. It is hoped visitors will be able to delve deeper into this relationship as well as the region’s world heritage.
