The congress is expected to decide on changes and supplements to the statute of the association.

More than 650 delegates and 200 representatives of the Party, State, Government, and National Assembly are expected to attend the event, which will be covered by about 200 reporters from 62 local and foreign newspapers and press agencies.

The Vietnamese Students’ Association has almost 700,000 members, representing 1.6 million students enrolled at 369 universities and colleges across the nation.
