Singapore group Cattigana plans to build a US$102 million five-star resort at the foot of Hai Van Pass in central Thua Thien-Hue province.

The luxury resort, to be built on 100ha on Chuoi Beach in Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone, will have 170 villas and a complex for cultural and leisure activities.

The chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, said the licence for the project will be issued this month.

The company is expected to break the ground on the project in the first quarter.
