The 2008 National Table-Tennis Tournament opened in a multipurpose sports hall in southern Khanh Hoa province on September 8, drawing the participation of 60 top players from 21 teams nationwide.
The competitors will take part in 4 events, including the men’s and women’s singles and mixed teams.
The tournament is expected to be very exciting with young players from localities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, Tien Giang, the army, the people’s public security and HCM city’s post office.
South East Asian champion, Doan Kien Quoc, national champions Dinh Quang Linh, My Trang, Xuan Hang, Tan Quynh and Nam Hai will also attend the event.
The tournament will close on September 11.
