The American International Group, Inc. (AIG) donated US$300,000 to a heart surgery programme conducted by the East Meets West Foundation (EMW) in Vietnam.

As many as 250 Vietnamese poor children will benefit from the donation.

Apart from free heart surgeries for poor children, AIG and EMW also provide medical equipment for hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City.
