Vietnam has been placed 40th with 156 points on the International Table Tennis Federation's table. According to the rankings, based on players' results in official federation competitions, player Doan Kien Quoc secured 1,076th place.
Singapore has ranked 30th with 174 points, but has won top spot out of all Southeast Asian countries.
Vietnam is now number two in the region, followed by Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
