On the second day of their 10-day meeting, which runs until August 23, they spoke highly of technical advances in controlling border security in their countries or regions.
Peruvian General Director of Migration and Naturalization, Juan Alvarez, was quoted by news agencies as saying that the discussions seek to reinforce security controls and guarantee the validity of visitors' identification documents.
