Vietnamese ethnic costumes on show in Belgium

(VOV) - An exhibition featuring Vietnamese ethnic minority costumes opened at the Wallonnie-Bruxelles Parliament building in Brussels, Belgium, on October 1.

The event, which falls within the framework of the ongoing “Vietnam Cultural Week” in Belgium, displays 100 photographs of traditional costumes from 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam.

At the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau said he hopes the week-long exhibition will help strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Belgium.

Earlier on September 30, Ambassador Chau introduced the unique royal cuisine of imperial Hue at the Royal Museum for Arts and History, which attracted Belgian and international friends, as well as overseas Vietnamese living and working in Belgium.
